   Fighting through a tough and close competition, the University of San Carlos finished second in Revolution: The Marketing Idea Generation Competition.

New engineering alumni group organized in Singapore; book launching held

   Alumni of the USC College of Engineering in Singapore attended the formal launching of the coffee table book entitled For the Good of Humanity, a book commemorating 75 years of existence of the College of Engineering. The event, held at YMCA One Orchard last October 25, was attended by Carolinian engineers working in Singapore together with Dr. Patrick John Lim, the coffee table book’s author. » Read more

 

USC conducts Singapore heritage study tour

   The University Museum in cooperation with the Anthropology division of the Department of Anthropology, Sociology and History successfully concluded its most recent project, the week-long first Singapore heritage study tour. Twelve participants, comprising three university officials, six graduate and two undergraduate anthropology students and an alumnus returned to Cebu last Sunday, 27 October after completing five days of site visits and lectures at leading heritage and museum institutions in Singapore. » Read more
