Students graduating from secondary school who want to enrol at the University of San Carlos as well as college students who want to transfer to the University may take the qualifying examination anytime.
REQUIREMENTS
To take the qualifying examinations, the following are required:
For Incoming First Year
- Graduating 4th year high school applicants are required to show their current school ID to the Admissions staff and submit a back to back photocopy of their school ID.
High school graduates who apply for admission are required to show their original Form 138 or high school card to the Admissions Staff.
- One copy of 2 x 2 ID picture (colored with white background) for walk-in applicants at USC; 3 copies of 2 x 2 ID pictures for on-site testing applicants

Php 350.00 – Pharmacy
Php 300.00 – Psychology; Nursing; Chemical Engineering; courses
offered by the Depts. of Accountancy; Business
Administration; Math and Computer Science
Php 250.00 – all other courses
For Transferees
1. Certificate of Good Moral Character
2. One copy of 2 x 2 picture (colored with white background)
3. Pencil
4. Testing Fee (same as above)
NOTE: Transferee applicants must first secure a clearance from the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) before they can proceed with the Admission process. They are required to present the certificate of good moral character from the school last attended during the interview at the OSA.
To qualify for admission to a particular college program, the following are required:
Incoming First Year
1. Passing mark in the qualifying examinations
2. Passing final grade in all high school subjects
3. High School final grade of 85% Mathematics, Science, and English
(for applicants to any Engineering Program)
Transferees
1. Passing mark in the qualifying examinations

- Accomplished student’s Personal Data Sheet

Transferees

- Statement of good moral character signed by the Dean or Head of School last attended (for Office of Student Affairs)
- Original copy of birth certificate (issued by NSO)
- Accomplished accreditation form
- Clearance from the USC Student Affairs Services Office after interview
- Accomplished student’s Personal Data Sheet
- Other requirements, where applicable
