The Philosophy Section of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies has invited Fr. Raymun Festin, SVD, PhD, to teach an intensive course on Ludwig Wittgenstein and Analytic Philosophy, from May 2 to 17, 2013. The two-week summer graduate course is open to students for a 3-unit credit, and to faculty auditors for their summer tasks and faculty development.Fr. Festin obtained his doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Leuven, Belgium. He is currently teaching at the Christ the King Mission Seminary in Quezon City and the Divine Word Seminary in Tagaytay City. He has two published books, namely: Beliefs and Certitudes (2010) and Mindfulness (2012). Fr. Festin is a Filipino priest of the Society of the Divine Word. He was ordained in 1993.
