PolSci major student makes it to TOSP regional search

Political Science major student Sonny Boquecosa is the lone Carolinian who made it to the search for the 2013 Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines in Central Visayas.  He will join five other Region 7 awardees in the national search in which they will bid for a slot in the National Top 30 tilt.

The top six regional students were chosen out of seventeen finalists by a panel of judges in Tagbilaran City last May 18.

The five other regional finalists are from Sillliman University, St. Paul University Dumaguete, Negros Oriental State University, Foundation University Dumaguete and Holy Name University Tagbilaran.

The annual program is a commitment of RFM Foundation, Commission on Higher Education, PLDT, National Bookstore and TOSP Alumni Community, in partnership with the Bohol provincial government.

Mr. Boquecosa graduated cum laude with the degree AB Political Science major in Law and Policy Studies last March 2013.
